Meet Rosie, she is a rescue from New Jersey. When Rosie came to Double B equine rescue she was bleeding uncontrollably. After a vet examination we found out that Rosie was very pregnant. After cleaning her up we managed to get the bleeding under control. We are now waiting for a new addition from Ms. Rosie. We nicknamed her "big mamma" She is a sweetheart who loves to be in your back pocket.

Sparkey has a huge heart and is just waiting for someone to take him to his forever home. This sweet boy is as gentle as they can be. Once a rowdy race horse, he  is retired and just wants some love.

Meet Little Ginger. Her story is a sad one. Earning her trust is a task, but once you have it she is the sweetest girl. Ginger is very afraid of getting out of her stall. Being only 3 years old she has gone through more than what many people go through in a lifetime. Double B is working on building her confidence, and making sure she is as comfortable as can be. Her fear had led her to be pretty flighty and she has injured herself. But never giving up Double B sewed her up, and put her on "bed" rest for awhile. Ginger needs a gentle touch and a patient person to show her that it shouldn't hurt to be with people. Come visit little Ginger and let her melt your heart like she has ours.

Grace is a rowdy girl. She loves staying out all day eating. She is very sweet in her stall and approaches people in the pasture with confidence. Grace needs someone who is willing to work with her every day. She loves other horses. Come see Grace!!
